WUHAN CULTURAL CENTER

Inspired by the “culture of water,” this project combines functionality and symbolism in a contemporary, complex, and highly versatile building.

The project integrates leisure spaces—cinemas, restaurants, and a commercial area—with a cultural core: an 800-seat auditorium, library, water museum, and exhibition halls.

It also includes a children’s micropolis, offices, a hotel, and large green areas that connect the built environment with a narrative of sustainability and wellbeing.

Our work on plans and 3D visualizations has been key to decision-making regarding volume, interiors, and the building envelope, reinforcing an architecture rooted in the territory and designed for a diverse public.
